Amazon to Hire 33K, Host Online Event to Kick Start Recruitment

As companies begin announcing their periodic job openings in front of the winter and fall holidays, Amazon . com does things just a little differently. 

The tech behemoth has ditched the flashy six-digit temporary hiring figures and opted rather to employ thousands of permanent workers.

Through all of those other year, Amazon . com is searching to fill 33,000 permanent job openings, with “thousands” of more hourly delivery and warehouse positions available, based on a business announcement. 

To jump start recruitment efforts, Amazon . com can also be hosting an online career event, readily available for free any place in the U.S. The “Career Day” virtual event begins Sept. 16, at noon Eastern time. In the event, people looking for work can find out more about the accessible positions, attend panels and workshops and chat directly with Amazon . com recruiters.
