We All Scream for Ice Cream — and It’s Free at DQ on March 20

While the big winter storm pummels the northeast this week, Dairy Queen is gearing up for its fourth annual Free Cone Day.

(I know there’s a blizzard pun in there somewhere, but I haven’t shoveled it out yet. Sorry — bad weather joke.)

OK, sorry. Back to the ice cream.

Get Your Free Cone From Dairy Queen

On March 20, Dairy Queen will celebrate its partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network by giving out free ice cream at participating locations. You may want to call ahead to ensure you’ll score a free cone at your local DQ — especially before you venture out in the snow!

Each customer will receive one small vanilla soft-serve cone “with the signature curl” while supplies last.

Share the Love

In exchange for a free cone, Dairy Queen asks customers to make a small donation to the Children’s Miracle Network, although it’s not required. But if you have a few quarters in your pocket, why not pay it forward?

Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised more than $130 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Free ice cream that helps make kids’ lives better? Yes, please.
